“Jai Mahakali” (1951) was directed by Dhirubhai Desai for Chandrakala Pictures. This movie had Rajkumar, Nirupa Roy, S N Tripathi,Shahu Modak, Lalita Pawar, Shanta Kanwar, Ulhas, Dhulia etc in it.
“Jai Mahakali” (1951) had eight songs in it. One song has been covered in the past.
Here is the second song from this obscure movie. This song is sung by an unknown male voice. Saraswati Kumar Deepak is the lyricist. Music is composed by a music director called Kumar.
Video of the song is available. But I am unable to identify the actor who is seen lip syncing this song in a bid to revive a dying child. At the end of the song, the child gets revived much to the relief of his grieving relatives.
I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify the singer as well as the actor lip syncing this song.
I have not been able to get a few words right in the lyrics to my satisfaction. I request our readers with keener ears to help fill in the blanks/ suggest corrections in the lyrics as applicable.
