Kamsune/Unsune songs of Asha Bhosle – 102
I have always thought that this song was composed by Sapan Jagmohan, but I am happily surprised that that is not so. It was composed by a gentleman named only as Ghanshyam. I am not sure if this person is the same one who goes by his full name – Shyamji Ghanshyamji. I request knowledgeable readers to clear this mystery for me.
Shyamji Ghanshyamji, although it sounds as a composer jodi, it is one person’s name. As a composer he gave some excellent songs like “Apni Aankhon Mein Basa Kar”, “Meri Hasraton Ki Duniya”, “Kabhie Gham Se Dil Lagaya”, etc
Whereas, the composer of today’s song is known to have composed for only one movie – Kunwara Badan (1973).
I have just posted a song this week from the same movie, so this one is the third song out of four songs in the movie.
Now, coming to today’s song, it is “Haaton Mein Mehndi Rachayi Jaayegi” by Asha Bhosle, is penned by Rajinder Krishan and composed by Ghanashyam.
I am unable to identify the actress who is lip syncing and performing in this song. I request our Mr. Prakashchandra Ji to help us identify her.
