“Chiraag”(1943) was directed by Ram Daryani for Murli Movietone, Bombay. This “social” movie had Ishwarlal,Kaushalya, Veena Kumari, Gope, Majeed, Gulab etc in it.
“Chiraag”(1943) had 11 songs in it. One song has been covered in the blog.
Here is the second song from “Chiraag”(1943) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Kaushalya. Wali Sahab is the lyricist. Music is composed by Khemchand Prakash.
Only audio of the song is available. It is easy to guess that this song was picturised on Kaushalya herself.
It is quite a hummable song, but the audio quality is not good. I have not been able to get the full lyrics of the song to my satisfaction. I request ur readers with keener ears to help fill in the blank/ suggest corrections wherever applicable in the lyrics.
