Today’s Kavi Pradeep song is form the movie “Veeraanganaa-1947”. It was directed by Nandlal Jaswantlal for Laxmi Productions, Bombay. This was a movie from the genre of “historical” movies. The cast of this movie included Shobhana Samarth, Prem Adib, Jeewan, Prabha, Badri Prasad, Sankata Prasad, Shanta Patel, Kanta and others. This movie has eight songs as per Geet Kosh-Vol-II (1941-1950). Kavi Pradeep wrote the lyrics for the songs in this movie under the name of Miss Kamal. The singers’ names for all the individual songs are not mentioned against the songs of this movie. Hari Prasanna Das and Manna Dey were the two music directors for this movie.
