In the early era of Talkie films the Film Companies which were well known were Imperial, New Theatres, British Dominion, Kohinoor, Krishna, Maharashtra, Ranjit, Saraswati, Sharada film company etc. Most of these companies continued from the silent era. I recall that my kid, when she was young, would look at books with colourful pictures and asked me to read her stories at bed time.
