Today’s song is from the film Taqdeer-1958. The film was made by Neelam Productions, Bombay. Produced by D. Dohna, it was directed by A.S.Arora – whose name is included as a Lyricist also, though there is no song on his name in the film, according to HFGK. he Music Director was Pt. Dhaniram. The cast of the film included Shyama, Karan Dewan, Asha Mathur (her last film), Pratima devi, Madan Puri, Tun Tun, Sheila Vaz, Helen and many others.
There were 5 films with the same title, Taqdeer, made in 1935, 1943, 1958, 1967 and 1983. The 1943 film Taqdeer was the First film of Nargis, where she was presented as the film’s Heroine.
