Regulars on this blog are familiar about the common interests of the team of this blog. First, it is songs and movies of course, one is cricket and the other most important is Railway or train or Indian Railways specifically. Everybody has a big admiration for the railway services and the efforts they put day in – day out to keep this country ‘moving’. Train travel is the safest and cheap (too) journey for the common citizens of this country as it has been for the last many many years. Then there is the ‘nostalgia’ people have for their life’s years associated of travelling to various places by train. People migrating to far away places from their hometown or staying far from their families for earnings always have many memories associated with train travel of reaching homes when everybody is waiting for them. When one travels in train he gets to have interaction with people from different parts of the country and some of them become friends during the travel and thus one gets to about diverse cultures too. The many journeys also teach one a lot and also tell us about the uncertainties in life and how life has been to the so many others than one self. The ‘Indian Railways’ plays a big role in ‘national –integration’ and it is also source of inspiration for many people like me.
