# Bhoole-Bisre Geet # 148 # A tribute to Kishore Kumar#
———————————————–———————————————

Today 4th August 2021 is the ninety-second birth anniversary of legendary Kishore Kumar.

He was born on 4th August 1929 at Khandwa (nowadays MP) and passed away on 13th October’1987 at Mumbai. Had he been alive, he would have celebrated his ninety-second birthday today. But he passed away at the age of fifty-eight years only and left his musical memories with us forever to cherish and enjoy.

For today’s occasion, I was looking for a song from a movie not presented on the blog and a song which is different. While searching in HFGK Vol-V (1971-1980) I came across today’s movie ‘Yauwan’. I was neither aware of the movie nor its songs.

Luckily this movie has not been presented on the blog and it contains a Kishore Kumar song and that too a ‘solo’ song. This is also the only Kishore Kumar song in this movie. And this is the song which I do not remember to have listened earlier. A low-pitched soft song this song serves the purpose of being a ‘different song’ from other well-known Kishore Kumar songs still to come up on the blog. This is a lesser heard song too. In summary, this song is just what the doctor ordered. 🙂

“Yauwan-1973” was directed by Ranjan Bose for ‘N.P. International, Bombay’. It was produced by N.P. Singh. It had Yogeeta Bali, Anil Dhawan, Sujit Kumar, Sundar, Mohan Choti, Jankidas, Poornima, Sajjan, Aashu, Rajpal, Renu, Rajanibala, Amar Grewal, Rameshwar, Bharat, Ratan Gaurang, Mehta, Sharma, Jugnu, Baby Sajju, Rajpal and others.

It had Kabir Bedi also featuring in a special appearance which the movie titles mentioned as ‘and a brief encounter with Kabir Bedi’ 😊

Story and screenplay of this movie was written by Ranjan Bose who was also the director of this movie. Dialogues of this movie were written by Madan Joshi and editing was done by Bhaskar Rao.

This movie was passed by Censor Board on 12.02.1973.

“Yauwan-1973” had five songs in it, all written by Onkar Verma. Music for this movie was composed by Sonik-Omi.

All the five songs in this movie are solo songs. Four of them are sung by Asha Bhonsle and one by Kishore Kumar.

Here is the list of songs in this movie as appearing in the movie-page of this movie in HFGK Vol-V.

S.No Song Title Singer/s
01 Ye reshmi andhera lut jaane ka mausam Asha Bhonsle
02 Bandariya naach dikhaaye ki haathi dhhol bajaaye Asha Bhonsle
03 Jalta hai ye tan, sun o jaaneman Asha Bhonsle
04 Tumhaari berukhi se pareshaan hain nazaare Kishore Kumar
05 Kuchh chaahe aye aa, kuchh dhhoondhhe aye aa Asha Bhonsle

As mentioned above today’s song is sung by Kishore Kumar . It is lip-synced by Anil Dhawan who is singing the song to cheer up Yogeeta Bali.

I have not watched this movie so can’t say much about it. I would request knowledgeable readers to throw more light on this movie ‘Yauwan-1973’ and its songs.

Let us now listen to today’s song and pay our tributes to one and the only ‘Kishore Kumar’.

With this song, the movie ‘Yauwan-1973’ makes its debut on the blog.

Song-Tumhaari berukhi se pareshaan hain nazaare(Yauwan)(1973) Singer-Kishore Kumar, Lyrics-Omkar Verma, MD-Sonik Omi

Lyrics

tumhaari berukhi ee se
pareshaan hain nazaare ae
tumhaari berukhi se
pareshaan hain nazaare
zaraa sa muskuraa ke
tum inhen de do sahaare
tumhaari berukhi se
pareshaan hain nazaare
zaraa sa muskuraa ke
tum inhen de do sahaare
tumhaari berukhi se

pashemaan kis liye hoti ho
tum apni jawaani se
pashemaan kis liye hoti ho
tum apni ee jawaani se
khushi aur gham ka rishtaa to
rahegaa zindagaani se
hai gham kaisaa kaho hamse
jo hai dil mein tumhaare
tumhaari berukhi se
pareshaan hain nazaare ae
tumhaari berukhi se

jalegaa dil bahaaron ka
jo tum aansoo bahaaogi
jalegaa dil bahaaron ka
jo tum aansoo bahaaogi
milegaa chain kaliyon ko
agar tum muskuraaogi
usi ki zindagi hai jo ise
hans kar guzaare
tumhaari berukhi se
pareshaan hain nazaare
zaraa sa muskuraa ke
tum inhen de do sahaare
tumhaari berukhi se
hmm hmm hmm hmm
hmm hmm
hmm hmm hmm hmm
