I have said it a few times and I need to say it again that Lata was at her peak in 1960s as a singer. The number of memorable songs that she churned out during this decade are many. Here is a memorable song from a suspense movie called Kohra.
This movie had music by Hemant Kumar and the lyrics were written by Kaifi Azmi. One can feel the spookiness of the situation just by listening to the song. I have not seen the movie, but to me it appears a “bhatakti Aatma” story and the song is just perfect for a “bhatakti aatma”.
