I have been a big fan of this song over the years. Apart from knowing that this song is sung by Kishore Kumar, I have been blank about other details. It is only recently that I came to know that this song is from a movie called “Chhoti Bahu” released in 1971.
Locating the video of this song has been a big problem, and I am very surprised about that, because this song was very popular. It was 13th in the Binaca geetmala final of 1971, despite playing only for 13 weeks that year.
This song has now become a popular bhajan, and it has been sung by many bhajan singers. But listening to this song in the original voice of Kishore Kumar is a divine experience.
I was unable to locate the video of this song for nearly one year and I had posted an audio of the song. Now finally I have been able to locate its video. Here is the video of this song. Just experience the wonderful voice of Kishore Kumar. This is one song that one can listen to many times, without feeling bored.
Indeewar is the lyricist and Kalyanji Anandji composed the music.
Song- He re Kanhaiyya, kisko kahega tu maiyya (Chhoti Bahu) ( 1971) Singer- Kishore Kumar, Lyrics- Indeewar, MD- Kalyanji Anandji
Lyrics
he re Kanhaiya kisko kahega tu maiya
he re Kanhaiya kisko kahega tu maiya
jisne tujhko janm diya ke jisne tujhko paala
Kanhaiya kisko kahega tu maiya
maani maanytaayein aur devi-dev pooje peer sahi Devki ne
duudh mein nahlaane ka god mein khilaane ka
sukh paaya Yashoda ji ne
ek ne tujhko jeewan diya re ek ne jeewan sambhaala
Kanhaiya kisko kahega tu maiyya
marne ke dar se bhej diya ghar se Devaki ne re Gokul mein
bina diye janm Yashoda bani maata tujhko chhupaaya aanchal mein
ek ne tan ko roop diya re ek ne man o dhala
Kanhaiya kisko kahega tu maiyya
janm diya ho chaahe paala ho kisi ne bhed ye mamta na jaane
koyi bhi ho jisne diya ho pyaar maan ka man to maan usi ko maane
ek ne tujhko di hain re aankhein ek ne diya ujaala
Kanhaiya kisko kahega tu maiyya
He re Kanhaiyya kisko kahega tu maiyya
I love this song. It is one of the songs I remember from my childhood. Had no clue which movie it was from but such songs you just grow up with – they are bhajans and the movie really does not matter.

There are few names of actors(in the credit sequences), who may be the guy lip syncing for the song:
Rasheed(Jackpot),Ranganath Jadhav, C.N.Reddy,V.Jhullan,
Babu Narsi,
I am not very sure who is the guy, but he may be one among the above names or his name goes uncredited.
