Dikhaayi diye yoon

There were some small budget art movies in late 1970s and early 1980s whose plots were so life like. In fact, they depicted the lives of people of lower class, who lived in slums, unlike the masala movies, where even lower class people are shown living in palatial homes.
Also, while the characters in masala movies would sing disco songs composed by Bappi Lahiri, these real life characters sung ghazals composed by Khayyam. And these ghazals may have outlived the disco songs when one looks back with the benefit of hindsight.
Here is a ghazal of “Baazaar” which depicted the lives of a very lower class family. All songs in this movie were very hummable. This particular song, for instance can still pull one’s heart strings.

plz correct this line:
“parastish ki yaan tak ki ai but tujhe ”
(PARASTISH KI AADAT HAI KI AI BUT TUJHE) is correct,try to listen the song once again and
