By now I have lost count of Rafi songs sung for Shammi Kapoor. Almost all these songs were popular then, are popular now and will remain popular in future ( to paraphrase a Rafi song).
This particular song from “Professor” (1962) is definitely one such song. In fact one can find many such songs in this movie itself (two of them have already appeared in this blog).
This song is supposed to be a “sad” song. But then Shammi brand of sadness was different from say Guru Dutt brand of sadness. It is not the “wallowing in self pity” kind of sadness. This just appears to be a temporary state of affairs in the context of the story line.
I was wondering who the chubby cheeked lady in the song was. Now I have realised that she is the heroine of the song ( how very smart of me ! ) and she is called Kalpana.
There is no such confusion when it comes to the people who have created this song. The same usual gang of Shammi Kapoor movies those days hve composed this song( Rafi and Lata are the singers, Hasrat the lyricist, Shankar Jaikishan the music directors).

There is no video link in this songs.Pl. arrange for this and put it again on your sight

Video link is very much there. It is just that it is from dailymotion and not youtube. In my experience, dailymotion videos last longer unlike youtube videos which are often taken off arbitrarily.
I have provided one youtube link too also for those who cannot access dailymotion links.

All the video links of Daily Motion are not working , and a comment appears on a black screen “a plugin is needed to display the content,install pluggin”

The dailymotion link is working for me (I have checked it on two different computers), so it means that one can play dailymotion videos if the proper softwares are available in the computer, call it plugin or whatever. Seeing how YT videos get removed arbitrarily, I feel that dailymotion is a better alternative for uploaders.
