Teri gathhri mein laaga chor

I have posted one superb song from “Dhoop Chhaon” (1935) that was sung by K C Dey that went “Baba, man ki aankhel khol”.
Here is another outstanding song from this movie. This song is “teri gathri me laaga chor musaafir jaag jara”. Like the abovementioned song, this song too is sung by that singing genius K C Dey. The lyrics are simple yet meaningful, and the lyricist deserves kudos for that. The music, very basic yet effective, as was the norm those days, as well as the magical voice of K C Dey- they create sheer magic.
I am amazed, and at the same time thankful that such music still survives and is available for us to savour them.
