“Raat Aur Din” (1967) was the last time Nargis acted in a Bollywood movie.
And this particular song could well be described the last song where Nargis was seen singing on screen.
This song is a duet sung by Lata and Manna Dey. This was written by Shailendra and composed by Shankar Jaikishan. This has to be one of the last songs written by Shailendra since he died in december 1966.
This song was picturised on Nargis and Feroz Khan. And this song “dil ki girah khol de” is one of the more memorable party songs of Bollywood. Annd indeed, this song is very much a timeless classic.

You should post more songs form this film like “Awara ae mere dil,” “Raat aur din,” “Jeena hum ko raas,” “Na chhedo kal ke,” and “Phool sa chehra”
There’s also an early Bhupinder song in this 1967 film.
