Few people are aware of this 1964 movie called “Cha Cha Cha”. It had a by now forgotten hero called Chandrashekhar, and Helen, a one dance wonder in most movies, was the heroine of this movie !
The movie failed at the box office, but its songs became popular. I have posted two songs from this movie already. Here is the third song from this movie. This is a radio song, in the sense that our hero Chandrashekhar, who has become separated from Helen sings this song on Radio ( All India Radio Hyderabad) and Helen listens to his voice in her transistor. Thus this song serves to unite them at least acoustically if not physically.
The song was written by Neeraj ( it was his debut movie as a lyricist, I think) and the music was composed by Iqbal Qureshi.

15th line from top should be :
“chaadao ki utaar ki”
Kahani kis se yeh kahen
chadaao ki utaar ki
Meaning :
“whom to tell the story of the ascent and the descent (of humanity)”
