Meri gaadi udan khatola

I had never heard about the songs of this movie called “Aurat” (1967), but now that I have heard a couple of songs from this movie, I cannot help but post them in this blog.
This particular song is a song in car category, though it is more a song in taxi category. The actor ( who is he ?) is a taxi driver. In Bollywood movies, a person driving a vehicle of any sort almost feels obligated to sing, in addition to drive. So our man, a taxi driver happily sings this song while driving his taxi.
He is a man of conscience as well. When he sees people strugging to catch buses, he helps them by preventing the bus to move by obstructing the bus with his taxi. When he finds a small girl walking aimlessly on the road, he takes her and deposits her to the nearest police station.
In brief, this song shows taxi wallahs what a sincere taxi walla should be like. 😉
