Late 1960s was a time of glut for quality songs, so much so that these songs jostled for space and many great songs failed to catch the ears of the audience. Though I very much lived through those yeras, even I missed out listening to quite a few such songs, as I am discovering these days almost on a daily basis.
For instance, I never became aware of a movie called “Pyaar Ka sapna” (1969). The fact that it had a few nice songs was also lost on me. Now, one of the comments in this blog enquired whether I was aware about songs from this movie. I was not aware, but thanks to these enquiries, I looked for songs from this movie and managed to come up with this song, which I am told was the most popular song from ythis movie.
Indeeed, this song sung y Rafi sounded nice to listen to the very first time I listen to it. It is written by Rajinder Krishan and the music director is Chitragupta. It is a song picturised on Vishwajeet and Mala Sinha.

Oh ..one of my all time faourite romantic songs….Rafi seems to be too a romantic person…it seems on listeing this song.

This movie had some good songs!’ Main Wohi hun,wohi hun,’ was also an excellent song,from ‘pyar Ka Sapna’!
