Rut bekaraar hai shaam e bahaar hai

Here is a song from “Maa aur Mamtaa” (1970). I had never heard of this movie. Nor had I come across this song “rut bekaraar hai shaam e bahaar hai” from this movie.
This song is picturised on Jeetendra and Mumtaz. As was the practice those days, both are seen in the same dresses throughout the song. Jeetendra is seen in super white clothes. Mumtaz is seen in what appears to me to be off white colour sari, which miraculously turns into light pink towards the end of the song. It appears to me that the picturisation of this song took two days, and on the second day, the person incharge of continuity failed to get the same sari and instead got another one, hoping that no one would notice the disparity. Of course, he had not contended with detective Atul !
The song apparenly was picturised in Bombay’s Kamla Nehru garden ( hanging garden). Please correct me if I am mistaken.
The song was written by Anand Bakshi and the music was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. This song was sung by Rafi and Lata.
