I have posted close to 1600 songs already in this blog, and there are still thousands of great songs yet to be posted.
I hope that by the time I am done with all the great songs, there will be tens of thousands of song in this blog. Most great songs composed by great music directors will then hopefully be available in this blog.
It is of course quite an ambitious aim considering that most great music directors created thousands of songs each. In addition, there were less well known music directors who have also contributed considerably to enrich Bollywood movie music.
Unlike his illustrious brother Pyarelal (of Laxmikant Pyarelal) fame, Ganesh got to work as a music director
in only 16 movies and he composed just over 80 songs. I hope that I will be able to post all his songs in my blog much earlier. It will be an understatement to say that almost all his songs are worthy of being posted
here. I find that almost all his songs that I have been privileged to listen to have been great songs.
Out of all his songs, I have already posted 15 songs in this blog. I am certain that no other site contains as
many number of songs of Ganesh as this blog.
Here is the 16th Ganesh song. This song is from “Husn aur ishq” (1966). I have posted 5 songs from this movie already. this is the sixth and final song from this movie.
Like other five songs of the movie, this song too is a nice song created for a c grade movie.
The movie, like most C grade movies in those days, used to be mostly black and white and partially in colour.
Two of the six songs in the movie were in colour. This song was shot in colour.
This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle and it is picturised on L Vijaylaxmi. Asad Bhopali is the lyricist.
