Here is a song which was as unknown to me as the movie itself. Yes, I had never heard about this movie called “Nartaki” (1963) nor do I have any recollections of having heard the songs of this movie.
Now I know that this movie had music by Ravi, so I am certain that this movie has some fine songs in it.
Here is a song from this movie. It is sung by Rafi and picturised on Sunil Dutt and Nanda. It is picturised as a boat song. Shakeel Badayuni is the lyricist.
Nanda, who was typically typecast in sister roles, plays a lead role here and I feel that she looks stunning in this picturisation.
The song, as I mentioned above, is a “new” song for me, and I loved listening to this song.

I don’t know how to make a farmaish on this blog. I would like to hear yet another song from this movie. It is “aaj duniya badi suhani hai” sung by Asha. May I request you to arrange for the same ?
