When one thinks of the music of “Blackmail” (1973), its song “pal pal dil ke paas” readily comes to mind. Most people, including me, remember only this one song from this movie.
Now that I have thought about this movie, I remember that there were other popular songs in this movie too.
But this song is one that I never knew existed ! I first heard this song “Mile mile do badan khile khile do chaman” for the first time only yesterday.
Of course there are others who are aware of this song and they rate this song highly. Having listened to ths song, I can see why this song is rated highly.
This song is written by Rajinder Krishan and its music is composed by kalyanji Anandji.This song is sung by Lata and Kishore Kumar and it is picturised on Dharmendra and Rakhi.

Totally agree with Memsaab–all that chemistry fizzing away between these two beautiful people! Lovely songs. And funny too especially Madan Puri in his awful wig :-). Shatru was good too.

Dharmendra & Rakhi getting this much closer for the first time in the movie ; in confined space surrounded by wooden logs amidst the terror from Shatrughan Sinha’s men & dogs….
Voice of Lataji & Kishorda adds value to the “lovemaking in confined space” atmosphere 😀

Indeed, the place inside the log is too illuminated, cozy and spacious, with enough breathing and moving space.
And the baddies do not even bother to take a closer look when dogs start barking near that pile of log.

Kind of creepy song when you watch all those wounds on Rakhi’s feet and the dogs barking. Song is paced well for the scene and scene conveys feelings of’ love despite all adversity ‘ very well. Lovely tune.
