In Bollywood movies, most songs are on the topic of love. In most of these songs, the singer wants to achievemore than what he/she has got. Rare is the song where the singer is happy with his/ her lot and has no further aspirations on this count.
Here is a song from “Prem patra” (1962) where Sadhana sounds like an achiever in love. She has achieved her target and she sound very happy with her lot.
This song is written beautifully by Rajinder Krishan and sung with feeling by Lata. The music by Salil Chaudhary touches the right chords. The listener can feel the sense of happiness and fulfilment that this song conveys.
I became aware of this song just this moment. And I loved this song the very first time I listened to it. What a gem this song is !

In one of the interviews by Lata, she mentioned that this movie was not on HMV but on a different company due to royalty issues…
