Jaali lo dhimtaanaa

While posting songs, I keep on stumbling upon unknown gems almost all the time. And there are countless such gems lying undiscovered.
Here is one such song that I discovered just now. This song is from a movie called “Amardeep” (1958), not to be confused with “Akashdeep” (1965).
The song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist and C Ramchandra is the music director.
It is a lively song which gives the impression that it must be a dance song. And it turns out to be so when one watches the picturisation. And who is there in the picturisation. We have not one, but two ( out of three)Travancore sisters dancing on this song. You want their names too ? They are Padmini and Raagini. This must be one of the very few songs where two of the Travancore sisters are seen dancing in a Bollyewood song.
Great song and two Travancore sisters dancing on this song- that certainly makes it a very special song.
