“Dharti” (1970) was one of the last movies in which both Rajendra Kumar and Waheeda Rehman were seen in lead roles. By this time both had begun to show their ages and were soon upstaged by younger and fresher faces.
This song is a song where Waheeda Rehman, while sleeping in her cot, imagines herself to be globe trotting with Rajendra Kumar to exotic locations, like a honeymooning couple.
Rafi and Lata sing this duet which is written by Rajinder Krishan. Shankar Jaikishan composed the music.

This was one of the first movies I clearly remember in my life. I don’t remember this song but I remember the songs “ye mausam bheega bheega hai” and “dheere dheere bolo ji shoo shoo bhed mat kholo ji shoo shoo”. 🙂 Very nice, both these songs. I see you have not yet posted them, Atul, so if for nothing, for nostalgia alone, could you please post them – at your convenience ? Thanks. 🙂
