“Maan” (1954) is one of those obscure movies that have been forgotten by all. Very little detail is available about this movie. This movie had Ajit, Jagirdaar,Achla Sachdev,Durga Khote, Yashodhara Katju etc in it.
Here is a song from this movie which is sung by Mukesh. Safdar “Aah” Sitapuri is the lyricist and Anil Biswas is the music director. I have no idea about the picturisation, but I can guess that this song was picturised on Ajit. Even without the picturisation, it is a nice song to listen to. It is indeed one of those forgotten gems that are so delightful to listen to once you come across them.
