I have listened to the well known songs of “Nastik”(1954) like everyone else, but I have not listened to the other songs of this movie.
This movie had over a dozen songs in it, and its other songs are also very nice songs to listen to, provided one can get a chance to listen to them.
Just now I stumbled upon this bhajan from “Nastik” (1954). What a superlative bhajan it is ! It is sung by Lata and it is picturised on Nalini Jaiwant. Pradeep is the lyricist. He has written a song that had the ability to melt hearts. C Ramchandra is the music director.
What a masterpiece this song is ! This song deserves to be much better known among music lovers.
Too bad that the people who sell the DVD/VCD do not have much appreciation for such music. I am told that the DVD/VCD of this movie that have recently been brought out exclude this song. This is really tragic because it means that music lovers are being deprived of a fantastic song that deserved to be heard in all households.
Well, let us be thankful that this song is at least available on internet and thus we still have the good fortune of being able to savour this song.

“Tere Phoolon Se Bhi Pyar” Google search brought me to your Blog. What a beautiful song this is! Kavi Pradeep is at his best in this Bhajan. I listen to this on and on and never get tired. Most people don’t know other wonderful lyrics from Kavi Pradeep are: 1)Aye Mere Watan Ke logon; 2)Suno Suno aye Duniyawalon Bapu Ki ye Amar Kahani, and; 3)hundreds of other patriotic songs such as De Di Humein Azadi Bina Khagad Bina Dhal.

Welcome to this blog, Mr Hari Agrawal. Pradeep as a lyricist and singer has given us some memorable gems, and I have posted most of the songs mentioned by you already and then a few more songs not yet mentioned by you. So far I have posted 33 songs sung/written by Pradeep in this blog.
