Here is a song of very old and historical vintage. The movie is “Khaandaan” (1942) and the song is “ham aankh michauli khelenge”.
The song is a rare song for people like me, but the video clip of this song is even rarer and I am so pleasantly surprised that video of this song is there and that too in very good condition.
This song is sung by an unbelievably young looking Noorjahaan and picturised on her as well. The lyricist is D N Madhok and music is composed by Ghulam Haider.
It is a rare gem, and the persons who have uploaded this rare video desrve our heartfelt thanks.

Thanks for posting this cheerful song: Noor Jehan seems to be barely in her teens here: don’t miss those hands/nails at 00:38….what I would call school-girl although she never had the chance to be one.

Indeed she is in her teens, and kid like lisping can be noticed in her voice.
