Roothe hon sanam to phir kyaa hai

In Hindi movies, “roothna” (sulking) is the preserve of females, and it is the male of the species who has to indulge in the act of “Manaanaa” (appeasement). I have posted many such songs like this in this blog, but it never occured to me to have a separate category for such songs.Now I have thought of this category called “sulking-appeasing song”.
Sometimes roles are reversed though. Here is a song of this genre where the hero is sulking and the heroine is trying to mollify the hero. This song is from “Laal Banglaa” (1966). This song is sung by Suman Kalyanpur and it is picturised on Jayanti and Sujit Kumar. Gulshan Baawra is the lyricist and Usha Khanna composed the music.
This is a rare song from a B grade movie,but it is a lovely song to listen to.
