Haaye re haaye ye mere haath mein teraa haath

I have posted as many as seven songs from “Kashmir Ki Kali” (1964) and one may be excused for assuming that there may not be any more songs left to be posted from this movie. But then one would underestimate the calibre of music directors of those era, if one made such an assumption.
Here is the eighth song from this movie. And this song is just as iconic as the other songs that I had discussed in the past.
This song is a dance song sung by Rafi and Asha Bhonsle. It is pictuurised on Shammi Kapoor, Sharmila Tagore and many other dancers. S h Bihari is the lyricist and O P Nayyar has come up with his typical music which is nice to listen to even today.

Real name of Shammi ji was “Shamsher Raj Kapoor”. And, movie should have been named “Punjaab da Sher”.
One feels like joining Shammi Kapoor madness. Only Rafi could do justice. And, OP Nayyar melody and lyrics by S H Bihari is just equally crazy. What a song.
