There were two movies called “Doosri Shaadi” that were produced in 1940s. One was released in 1947 and the other one in 1949. Both these movies had different teams.
Here is a song from “Doosri Shaadi” (1947).This song is sung by Johrabai Ambalewaali. I C Kapoor is the lyricist and music is composed by Govindram.
I have no idea about the picturisation, but I can guess that this song was picturised on Mumtaz Shanti, seeing that this movie had David, Gope, Kumar, Maya Devi, Mumtaz Shanti, Pramila, Ranjeet Kumari etc in it.
This song is as obscure as they come, but what a lovely song it is. I heard this song for the first time only just now, and I suppose that majority of music lovers over these 63 years may not have heard this song. This song is a forgotten gem, that needs to be better known among music lovers.
