Arri o mohe chhed gayaa

I have so far discussed songs from “Singaar” (1949) that were sung by Suraiyya and Surinder Kaur and picturised on Suraiyya and Madhubala respectively. This movie also has songs sung by other singers and picturised on lesser actors.
Here is a song where two ladies are singing in front of a gathering. The song is a “teased” song sung by Rajkumari and Pushpa Hans. I am not aware about the identity of the two ladies on whom this song is picturised. I request my knowledgeable readers to help identify them.

This song is picturized on Cuckoo, Hoor Bano & Prem Dhawan.

an Anglo-Indian dancer and actress Cuckoo and male dancer is Anil Dhawan.

Correction, the male dancer is Prem Dhawan, the well known lyricist and music director.

Thanks for this information. I had read somewhere that Prem Dhawan had acted in this movie, but I was not sure.

According to the info provided by Khwaja Irfan Anwar, son of the MD Khwaja Khurshid Anwar, it is not Prem Dhawan, but Surya Kumar.
This is the comments of Pradhyapak Surjit Singhji on Facebook to a query – whether the dancer in the song was the lyricist Prem Dhawan?
I suppose our in-house encyclopedia will be the best person to answer the question- who is the male dancer in this song.
