“Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye” (1963) is a B grade movie where Mehmood was the hero and Shakila played the leading lady opposite him.
The movie apparently did not do well at the box office.
Here is a song from this movie. This light hearted romantic duet is sung by Rafi and Lata. It is picturised on Mehmood and Shakila.
Qamar Jalalabadi is the lyricist and music is composed by Kalyanji Anandji.
I have noted down the portions of the song that was available in the song, though it appears that substatial portion of the song (at least two paras) has gone missing from the video. As a result, the lyrics provided by me may not be the full lyrics of this song.
The song is a nice hummable song. This song could be called title song of the movie as well, but for the fact that the sentence in the song “kahin pyaar ho na jaaye” differs from the title of the movie slightly. Here is this lesser known song from a lesser known movie.
