Here is a song from a movie called “Pyaar Ki Manzil” (1950). It is sung by Lata. Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist and music is composed by Husnlal Bhagatram.
Only the audio of this song is available so I am unable to tell how and on whom this melancholic song is picturised. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on this matter.

PYAR KI MANZIL,produced bySuper Team Federal productions,directed by Keki Mistry had Music by H/Bhagatram and Lyrics were provided by Rajinder Krishna,Shevan Rizvi and Tariq Lucknowi.Story/screenplay/Dialogues were by Azam Bazadpuri.
The cast included Rehman,Munawwar Sultana,Pratima Devi,Gope,Janaki das,Ramesh Sinha,Kamal etc.etc.
The story is,Rehman is a Lawyer,who loves M.Sultana,having met her accidently after a ‘Takarana’ takes place.As usual,her father is agaist this match as they are not only from different caste,but alsoRehman is not yet rich.Lovers suffer,meanwhile,Rehman earns a name,fame and money in his practice.After few more minor hiccups,the lovers reach their Pyar Ki Manzil ‘successfully’.
The above song takes place early in the movie when lovers separate and M.Sultana is forced to sing this sad song to give vent to her feelings.
