“Anokhi Adaa” (1948) is a movie that had actors like Murad, Surendra, Cuckoo,Naseem Bano etc in it. I have discussed one song from this movie in the past.
Here is a lovely song from this movie. It is sung by Mukesh. As only the audio of this movie is available so I am unable to tell how and on whom this song is picturised. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on this movie and the picturisation of this song.
PS-Mr Atiullah pointed it out that the video of this song is available and that the song is picturised on Prem adeeb. I thank him for this information. I have now provided the video link of this song as well.
This song is written by Shakeel Badayuni. Music is composed by Naushad. Listening to this song is a delightful experience.
PS II-I have subsequently come to know that this song is sung in three parts in the movie. This multiple version has Mukesh Solo, Shamshad Begam solo and Mukesh-Shamsha Begam duet.
The song is picturised on Prem Adib and Naseem Bano.

This indeed is a delighful song. Mukesh of the 40s is always nice to listen to. He had this exuberance and smooth flowing quality which I find mesmerising.

I have been listening to this song in the car for the past ten days or so, and I wondered about this song, but before I could google for info, you have already posted the song! In fact, I was wondering today if it was filmed on Raj Kapoor or Dilip Kumar, and here I find that neither person acted in that movie! Oh well

The Male Actor was Prem Adeeb and female actress was Naseem Bano(mother of Saaera Bano)
