Ye raat ye nazaarey

I am vaguely aware of this Hindi movie title called “Trolley Driver” (1958) and I have wondered about what this movie is all about. To this day, I am not much aware of the star cast of this movie or its story line.
Just a few hours ago, I came across this song from “Trolley Driver” (1958). Like the movie, this song too is an obscure one.
Unlike the movie, which perhaps may not amount to much, I find this song from the movie quite a hummable song. This song is sung by Rafi and Suraiyya. Since only the audio of this song is available, I am unable to say how and on whom this song is picturised.
Sarshar Sailaani is the lyricist. Music is composed by Husnlal Bhagatram.

Atulji,
There is another beautiful song Ik zakhmi dil fariyad kare sung by Suraiya which I found on YT. It is an audio clip with some static noise from vinyl record. Unfortunately I could not find any other clip with better audio.

TROLLY DRIVER(1958) was a Divya Jyoti Production,directed by Gajaanan Jagirdar.The story was of Vishram Bedekar,Music by Husn/Bhagatram and lyrics were from Sarshar Sailani and Asad Bhopali.
The cast was Rehman,Suraiya,Ushakiron,Jagirdar,Madan Puri,Kammo,Bhagwan,Pratima Devi etc.
Raibahadur Roshanlal(Jagirdar) constructs a big building on the land of his defeated enemy Ruplal(Madan puri),for his daughter Renu(Suraiya).She falls in love with the Trolly driver(during construction) Ravin(Rehman),who is Ruplal’s son..He also saves her life.Roshanlal is angry and tells lies to Renu about Ravin.To take revenge,Renu marries Ravin.After interval and few reels,she learns the truth and everything is fine at the end.
