“Rimjhim” (1949) is a movie that had Kishore Sahu and Ramola in lead roles. I have just now discovered the songs of this movie.
Here is a lovely song from this movie. This song is sung by Kishore Kumar and it is sung in K L Saigal style. yes, Kishore Kumar’s by now familiar singing style was yet to develop and it would evolve only one year later, viz. in 1950.
The song is written by Bharat Vyas and its music is composed by Khemchand Prakash, who had also given Kishore kumar his first break in a solo song in “Ziddi” (1948).
Only the audio of this song is available, but it is almost certain that this song was picturised on Kishore Sahu. With this song, Kishore Kumar may have become one of the first singers to sing for his namesake in Hindi movies. Later, Geeta Dutt would sing for Geeta Bali and Asha Bhonsle for Asha Parekh. 😀

Beautiful song.
To me, this song seems to be Kishore Kumar’s first attempt to come out of Saigal’s style of rendition.
