There are rare sings that one can come across just by stumbling against them while browsing sites like YT. But there are rare songs that cannot be discovered this way. You can find them only when you specifically look for them by the name of the movie, lyricist etc. And such songs may not even be available on YT, that is how rare they are.
Songs of “Bela” (1947) fall under this category of rare songs, and they are not available on YT. It is a pity because this movie had not one or two but several nice songs it it. I have discussed one song from this in the past. Here is another song from this movie.
What a fantastic song it is. Though I may not have heard this song in “puraani filmon ke geet” of Radio Ceylon in my younger days, it sounds like an arch-typical “puraani filmon ka geet” . It is full of old world charm. It is sung by zohrabai Ambalewaali, its lyrics are written by D N Madhok, and its music is composed by Bulo C Rani.
I find it an awesome song to listen to. Seeing how rare this song is, it is obvious that not too many people may have heard this song before. I am sure they will enjoy “discovering” this song which was released as far back as 1947.

Nice and indeed a rare song. I get some similarities of tune of ‘Rum Jhum barse badarwa’ from RATTAN(1944) also sung by Zohra Bai, in this song.
