Posted on: October 3, 2011

“Khazaana” (1951) is a movie produced by Bakshi brothers and directed by M Sadiq. The star cast of the movie included names like Nasir Khan, Madhubala, Om Prakash, Gope, Raj Mehra, Gujri, Ramesh Thakur, Cuckoo etc.

Here is a duet song from the movie. This song is sung by Lata and Rafi.Though only the audio of this song is available, it can be safely assumed that the song is picturised on Madhubala and Nasir Khan.

Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist. Music is composed by C Ramchandra.

Lyrics of this song were sent to me by nahm.

Lyrics(Provided by nahm)

mujhe tum se bahut hai pyaar
mujhe tum se bahut hai pyaar
bahut hai pyaar
nahin ji zara zara
nahin ji zara zara

itni na karo taqraar
itni na karo taqraar
bahut hai pyaar
nahin ji zara zara
nahin ji zara zara

o o o o o
duniya bhar ki khushiyaan chhodoon
khushiyaan chhodoon
tum se muhn na modoon
duniya bhar ki khushiyaan chhodoon
khushiyaan chhodoon
tum se muhn na modoon
khel ke apni jaan pe bhi
main tum se naata jodoon
main tum se naata jodoon

yeh baat galat sarkaar
yeh baat galat sarkaar
galat sarkaar
nahin ji zara zara
nahin ji zara zara

mujhe tum se bahot hai pyaar
mujhe tum se bahot hai pyaar
bahut hai pyaar
nahin ji zara zara
nahin ji zara zara

Translation :

I love you very much
may be too much
No, no only a little bit

dont argue like this
there is much love
no, only a little bit

I will leave all the goodies on offer
but never leave your side

i am ready to put my life at stake
so that i can be with you

No sir, this is so wrong,
very wrong
no no, only a little bit

I love you very much
may be too much
No, no only a little bit

Atul ji,
NASIR KHAN,the younger brother of Dilip Kumar and father of actor Ayub Khan, may not be known that well to the new generation.
Nasir khan got films and sustained mainly because of his good luck and being a brother of Dilip kumar, otherwise there was undisputed unanimity over his wooden face and lack of histrionics.
His first film was Mazdoor in 1945,opposite Veera, but the second film Shahanai-47 put him on top, mainly due to excellent music by C.Ramchandra and Rehana’s acting.
After partition he migrated to Pakistan and made the First released film of Pakistan,’TERI YAAD’,thus confirming his place in Lollywood History !
His 2nd film flopped and he fell on bad days, asking for help from Dilip kumar.During this period,he also got involved with a love affair with a married girl and had to run away to Bombay overnight with only clothes on body,to avoid murder attempt.
He started with a bang in India again with 6 films in 1951,Khazana being his First relaunch film.He acted in many films till 57,after which he did only 3 films. He also had married the beautiful actress Begum Para and sired 3 children from her,in addition to one daughter from first wife.
He died on 3-5-1974 due to an unique undiagnosed disease. His last film ‘Bairaag’ with Dilip kumar was released in 1976.
