Here is a song that I thought had already been discussed in this blog but I was wrong.
This song ffeatures the voice of Rafi, the lyrics of Anand Bakshi and the music of Laxmikant Pyarelal. Combine it with the fact that the song is picturised as a dsance song on Rajendra Kumar and Sadhana, and one has a killer commbination.
The song is a hugely popular song on its time and the movie “Aap Aaye Bahaar Aayi” (1971) rode on the back of songs like this and managed to succeed at the box office. This was one of the last hits of Rajendra Kumar and Sadhana . By that time the phenomenon of Rajesh Khanna had already happened and and the phenomenon of Amitabh Bachchan was waiting to happen. So Rajendra Kumar was already a has been by this time.
