“Raat Ki Raani” (1949) was a J S Pictures presentation. J S, viz Jagdish Sethi, also directed the movie, and also acted in the movie. The cast of the movie included names like Munawwar Sultana, Shyam, Sulochana Chatterji, Madan Puri, Jagdish Sethi, Om Prakash, Chaman Puri etc.
I have discussed two songs from this movie. Here is another song. This song is a duet, which is sung by Lata and Rafi. It is my guess that the song is picturised on Munawwar Sultana and Shyam.
Darbarilal Shamim is the lyricist. Music is composed by Hansraj Bahl.

Lyrics(Provided by nahm)
Uss chaand se pyaare chaand ho tum
aakash pe jo muskaata hai
uss chaand se pyaare chaand ho tum
aakash pe jo muskaata hai
uss chaand se
gar chaand hoon main
tum sooraj ho
tum jyoti arpan karte ho
ek dukhyaari ke jeewan ka
ek dukhyaari ke jeewan ka
man aashaaon se bharte ho
ehsaan se man ghabraata hai
usss chaand se
wo neel gagan par hansta hai
tu dharti par muskaati hai
us chaand
us chaand
us chaand ki mere chaand se jab
aankh kahin lad jaati hai
wo o o
wo baadal mein chhup jaata hai
us chaand se
apne charnon ki daasi ka
kyun itna maan badhaate ho
ek be-par be-bas panchhi ko
ek be-par be-bas panchhi ko
aakash ki sair karaate ho
is baat
is baat se man dar jaata hai
uss chaand se pyaare chaand ho tum
aakash pe jo muskaata hai
uss chaand se

Gem of a song rendered soulfully by both Lata and Rafi; Great composition.
