“Majhdhaar” (1947) is a movie which I know nothing about. Whatever I know about this movie is from what is mentioned in the YT entry of this song. This movie was a Minerva Production and it was directed by Sohrab Modi. Star cast consisted of Surendra, Khursheed, Sadiq Ali, E Tarapore, Baby Tabassum, Rafiq Ghaznavi, Surekha etc.
The movie as well as its songs have been forgotten with time. But if this song is any indication, the movie has some wonderful songs in it.
I came across this song only just now and I find this song to be a stunning composition. This song deserves to be much better known among music lovers.
Here is this superb song from “Majhdhaar” (1947). The song is sung by Khursheed. Shams Lucknowi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Ghulam Haider.
Seeing that Khursheed also figured in the movie, it can be deduced that the song was picturised on her as well.
I have not been able to get the lyrics right at a few places. I request readers with keener ears to point out the missing/correct words in the lyrics of this song.

I heard this song for the first time and I liked it.
My two cents for deciphering the missing words. My guess is :
