“Aabsaar” (1953) is not a movie too many people have heard of. Hardly any information is available about this movie on internet. So it is obvious that this movie may have been a commercial failure at the box office.
I came across a song from this obscure movie just a few hours ago. And what a fantastic song it is ! This is a confirmation of the oft repeated view in this blog and B grade movies of those days tended to have A grade compositions in them. And this composition is absolutely A+ stuff.
This song is sung by Lata. Sarshar Sailaani is the lyricist. Music is composed by Bhola Shreshtha.
What a wonderful composition from a less known pair of lyricist and music direction !

Atul ji,
AABSHAAR-1953 was a Globe Picture film.It was produced and directed by Hasarat Lucknowi who was essentially a writer.He used to write story,Dialogues,Screen plays and even wrote lyrics in some films.He has about 20 films to his credit in different capacities,but this is the only film where he was Producer/Director.
There were 3 music Directors,Ghulam hyder(3 songs),Bhola Shreshtha(3 songs) and Mohd.Shafi(2 songs).
There were 3 Lyricists too.Sarashar Sailani,Vahid Qureshi and Katil Shifai.
The cast included Raaj kumar(Jaani),Nimmi,Lalita Pawar,Kuldip Kaur,Tiwari,Iftekhar etc.

Atulji , ye geet kis film ka hai. Kya isgeet ka video Uplabdh hai? Sagar ko chhod saki nazrein milake pee. Please muze bataiye….

I think you are referring to the Khooni Khazana (1965)Suman Kalyanpur song written by A.Shamsheer and composed by S.Kishan “Saagar ko chhod saaqi nazrein milaa ke pee, taubaa ko”
you can find the above mentioned song in the following movie video link where the said song vide starts from 29:48 and ends at 35:20
this song is picturised on Heera Sawant and Sheikh Mukhtar
