“Shikaari” (1946) is a movie which had Ashok Kumar, Paro, Veera, Ram Shukul, Leela Mishra etc in it. This song was one of the earliest movies of S D Burman as a music director and this movie had some nice songs in it.
I have discussed two songs from this movie in the past. Here is another song from this movie. This song, which I heard for the first time only just now, is sung by Amirbai Karnataki. Lyrics are written by G S Nepali.
Only the audio of this song is available, so it is difficult to guess how and on whom this song was picturised. Assuming that Paro was the lead actress of this movie, the song could well have been picturised on her. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on this movie as well as on this song.

dene ko sazaa de di
sahne na diyaa mil ke

qismat ke ishaare par
ik roz mile donon
armaan liye dil mein
ik saath khile donon
par pyaar ki lahron mein
ae ae ae ae
par pyaar ki lahron mein
bahne na diyaa mil ke
sahne na diyaa mil ke
duniyaa ne hamen do din
rahne na diyaa mil ke

bedard hai duniyaa
aa aa aa
bedard hai duniyaa
badi bedard hai duniyaa
qaanoon bhi maanaa hai kahin
ro ke manaane se
insaaf bhi suntaa hai kahin
shor machaane se
ab kaun sune dukhde
ae ae ae
ab kaun sune dukhde
is dard bhare dil ke
is dard bhare dil ke
duniyaa ne hamen do din
rahne na diyaa mil ke

Atul ji,
SHIKARI-1946 was a Debut film for S.D.Burman and also for Kishore Kumar(as an Actor).
This film was produced by Filmistan, which was established by people who had left Bombay Talkies togeher. Thus the story of this film was by Gyan Mukherjee,Direction by Sawak Vachha, and Hero was Ashok kumar, all founding members of filmistan.
Sachin Dev Burman, born in Komilla,in a princely family, started his musical career as a Composer for Bengali dramas in 1936.His first Bengali film was Rajashri in 1937.After doing 4 more films he came to Bombay and got Shikari as his first Hindi film as a composer.
Kishore kumar wanted to become a stunt-actor in films.Ashok kumar, who was an astrologer by hobby, saw his horoscope and declared that in his life time he can never become an Actor !
However,KK started his acting career with Shikari-46,in which his brother was the Hero.
lyricists were G.S.Nepali and Kavi Pradeep, who wrote only 1 song in Shikari,’Jagmag hai aasmaan-dol rahi hai naiyya’.

Thanks a lot for all these details. So it means that Kishore Kumar made his acting debut before his debut as a solo singer.
