Lyrics(Provided by nahm)
duniya
banaane waale
yehi hai meri iltejaa
ke ho naa kabhi apne judaa
duniya
banaane waale
yehi hai meri iltejaa
ke ho naa kabhi apne judaa
hmm hmm
hmm hmm
hmm hmm
hmm hmm
ghar ke jo ujaale hain
bachaana unhen
jaa ke apne seene se
lagaana unhen
tu bhi un ka saathi hai
bataana unhen
jaldi wo aayen
lutey ghar basaayen
yehi dil se nikle sadaa
ke ho naa kabhi apne judaa
hmm hmm
hmm hmm
hmm hmm
hmm hmm
pehna hai andheron ka
zameen ne kafan
sooni sooni duniya hai
sehmaa sa chaman
kaante chhoone paayen na
phoolon ka badan
tere hawaale
bahaaron ke paale
dukhi dil ki hai yeh duaa
ke ho na kabhi apne judaa
duniya
banaane waale
yehi hai meri iltejaa
ke ho naa kabhi apne judaa

Nahmji,
Aap ne to humko 25 saal pahele ke sunehere din ki yaad dila di. Madan Mohan’s music! Can’t be compared with any others. I know, everybody is unique, lekin Madan Mohanji ke liye mein pahele se hi “biased” hoon. Woh koi bhi geet ko zinda kar dete the. All his songs for Chetan Anand’s movies with Kaifi Azmi’s lyrics are immortal. Thanks again for this song.

Khyati ji,
What you say about Madan Mohan’s songs is very true. I have grown up listening to the songs on radio, mainly Vividh Bharathi. Unlike the other two songs of this film, this song i hadnt heard before i found it on youtube. Some of the solos which Lata Mangeshkar has sung for Madan Mohan such that i call it the “Shining voice” there is so much ‘roshni’. If a voice could shine, this is it.
Nahm.
