“Maai Baap” (1957) is often confused with “Maa Baap”(1959). “Maai Baap” (1957) was a Sadiq Production movie. It was produced and directed by M Sadiq. The movie had Johny Walker, Shyama, Minoo Mumtaz, Nazir Hussain, Raj Mehra, S. N. Banerjee, etc in it. “Maa Baap”(1959) on the other hand was a Ratandeep Productions movie. It was directed by V M Vyas and the movie had Rajendra Kumar, Kamini Kadam, Bipin Gupta, Rajendra Kumar, Anwar, Kumar, Naaz, Kuldip Kaur, Peace Kanwal, Romi, Leela Misra, Sunder, Pran, Leela Chitnis etc in it.
Here is a duet from “Maai Baap” (1957). It is a lovely duet which is sung by Geeta Dutt and Rafi. Only the audio of this song is available but my guess is that Johny Walker lip syncs in Rafi’s voice. The lady lip syncing in Geeta Dutt’s voice could be Shyama or Minu Mumtaz. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on the picturisation of this song.
PS-Derubala jee has given a link to the partial video of this song which shows that my guess was correct. This song is picturised on Minu Mumtaz and Johny walker as a club/bar dance song.
Qamar Jalalabadi is the lyricist. Music is composed by O P Nayyar.
Lyrics of the song were sent to me by Nitin Shah.
Here is the song from “Maai Baap” (1957) which incidentally has been wrongly mentioned as “Maa Baap” by the YT uploader.

Song-Tu dil mera lauta de Angrezi saahibzaade (Maai Baap)(1957) Singer-Geeta Dutt, Rafi, Lyrics-Qamar Jalalabadi, MD-O P Nayyar
Lyrics(Provided by Nitin Shah)
tuh dil mera lauta de
angreji sahibzaade
meri tauba tum pehle dil hai deta,
phir usko waapas leta
tum hai kaisa
tuh dil mera lauta de
angreji sahibzaade
meri tauba
main ek rangeeli titli,
kabhi baithoon na main nikli(?)
nahin ek thikana mera,
main chamkoon jaise bijli
main ek rangili titli,
kabhi baithoon na main nikli(?)
nahin ek thikaana mera,
main chamkoon jaise bijli
main chamkoon jaise bijli,
tuh dil mera lauta de
angreji sahibzaade
meri tauba tum pehle dil hai deta,
phir usko waapas leta
tum hai kaisa
kabhi paas khade lehraana,
kabhi pyaar se bhi ghabraana
kabhi phool kabhi tuh kaanta,
tera raaz na ham ne jaana
kabhi paas khade lehraana,
kabhi pyaar se bhi ghabraana
kabhi phool kabhi tuh kaanta,
tera raaz na hamne jaana
o tera raaz na hamne jaana
tuh dil mera lauta de
angreji sahibzaade
meri tauba tum pehle dil hai deta,
phir usko waapas leta
tum hai kaisa
mujhe dekh na yoon harjaayi,
meri toot gayi angdaayi
meraa chhod de zalim peechha,
tere pyaar se main baaz aai
mujhe dekh na yoon harjaayi,
meri toot gai angdaayi
meraa chhod de zalim peechha,
tere pyaar se main baaz aai
tere pyaar se main baaz aai
tuh dil mera lauta de
angreji sahibzaade
meri tauba tum pehle dil hai deta,
phir usko waapas leta
tum hai kaisa
Atulji,
Not so sure, but your guess should be right. The way Rafi sings, and those words- deta, leta, tum hai kaisa fits only for JW. Whenever JW had to sing, lyricists had to accommodate this kind of words in the song to fit his style. And Rafi being Rafi, would give the perfect justice to that song for JW. As we all know that Manna Dey had different way of singing for Mehmood, Rafi had same for JW.
Atulji,
First…the film name is not MAA-BAAP…
