Song-Manzil ki dhun mein jhoomte gaate chaley chalo (Anokhi Ada)(1948) Singer-Mukesh, Lyrics-Shakeel Badayuni, MD-Naushad

Lyrics(Provided by Atif M)

manzil ki dhun mein jhoomte gaate chaley chalo
manzil ki dhun mein jhoomte gaate chaley chalo
bichhde huye dilon ko milaate chaley chalo
haan milaate chaley chalo

do din ki zindagi mein
koyi kyun uthaaye gham
koyi kyun uthaaye gham
do din ki zindagi mein
koyi kyun uthaaye gham
koyi kyun uthaaye gham
naghme khushi ke sab ko sunaate chaley chalo
naghme khushi ke sab ko sunaate chaley chalo
bichhde huye dilon ko milaate chaley chalo
haan milaate chaley chalo

insaaniyat to pyaar mohabbat ka naam hai
mohabbat ka naam hai
insaaniyat to pyaar mohabbat ka naam hai
mohabbat ka naam hai
insaaniyat ki shaan badhaate chaley chalo
insaaniyat ki shaan badhaate chaley chalo
bichhde huye dilon ko milaate chaley chalo

haan milaate chaley chalo

aazad zindagi hai to barbaad kyun rahe
barbaad kyun rahe
aazad zindagi hai to barbaad kyun rahe
barbaad kyun rahe
barbaadiyon se dil ko bachaate chaley chalo
barbaadiyon se dil ko bachaate chaley chalo
bichhde huye dilon ko milaate chaley chalo
haan milaate chale chalo
manzil ki dhun mein jhoomte gaate chaley chalo
bichhde huye dilon ko milaate chaley chalo
haan milaate chaley chalo

Mukesh singing for Prem Adib ji.
After huge hit of this song..It was a big gap between Naushad/Mukesh songs…after huge success 40’s. Rafi started with Naushad as a lead singer in late 1949. After some 19 years later, Naushad team up again with Mukeshji in Saathi (1968).
