Tum chal rahe ho ham chal rahe hain

There were two movies with the same title viz “Duniya Na Maane”. The older movie was a 1937 release whereas the newer movie was released in 1959.
“Duniya Na Maane” (1959) was a Vishwadeep Production movie. It was directed by V Avdhoot. The movie had Bhagwan, S. K. Prem, Pradeep Kumar, Mala Sinha, Sheikh Mukhtar, Sulochana, Daisy Irani, Mohan Choti, Rajen Haksar etc in it.
I have discussed two songs from this movie in the past. I was under the impression that the song under discussion was already discussed, but I was wrong.
This song in fact has two versions, and in reality they are two different songs, but for the purpose of this blog, we tend to treat them as the same song and cover them in the same write up.
The duet version of the song is a happy romantic song. It is sung by Mukesh and Lata and it is picturised on Pradeep Kumar and Mala Sinha. The other version is a Mukesh solo version. It is a sad song which reminisces about the happier days of the past. This version is picturised on Pradeep Kumar.
Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Madan Mohan.
