Ham thhe tumhaare tum thhe hamaare

“Dard” (1947) was a Kardar Productions movie. It was produced and directed by A R Kardar. The movie had Shyam Kumar, Suraiya, Munawar Sultana, Nusrat, Husn Banoo, Badri Prasad, Protima Devi, Amir Ali, Lakshman, Noor Mahal etc in it.
As many as nine songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the tenth song from the movie. It is sung by Suraiyya. Shakeel Badayuni is the lyricist. Music is composed by Naushad.
Only the audio of this song is available but it is clear that the song was picturised on Suraiyya herself.
I wonder if all the songs of this movie have been covered by now. I request our knowledgeable readers to tell us if that is indeed the case.
Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Atif M.

Song-Ham thhe tumhaare tum thhe hamaare (Dard)(1947) Singer-Suraiyya, Lyrics-Shakeel Badayuni, MD-Naushad
Lyrics(Provided by Atif M)
hum thhe tumhaare tum thhe hamaare
haaye woh bhi zamaana yaad karo
hum thhe tumhaare tum thhe hamaare
haaye woh bhi zamaana yaad karo
dil ko laga ke hum se aankhen chura ke
door gaye ho jab se aaye na ja ke
chhup ke jahaan par milte thhe hum tum
haaye woh bhi thikaana yaad karo
hum thhe tumhaare tum thhe hamaare
haaye woh bhi zamaana yaad karo
khel nahin hai koyi dil ka lagaana
dekho woh baaten kahin bhool na jaana
teer chale thhe nazron ke jis par
haaye woh bhi nishaana yaad karo
hum thhe tumhaare tum thhe hamaare
haaye woh bhi zamaana yaad karo
haathon mein aa ke daaman chhoot na jaaye
yeh do dilon ke rishte toot na jaayen
dil se kabhi jo dil ne kaha thha
haaye woh bhi fasaana yaad karo
hum thhe tumhaare tum thhe hamaare
haaye woh bhi zamaana yaad karo

As far as I know, Dard had 10 songs. So this must be the last & final one.
Another full movie completed. 🙂
