“Shehnaayi” (1964), not to be confused with “Shehnaayi” (1947), was a New Oriental Pictures Production. It was directed by S D Narang. This movie had Biswajeet, Rajshree, Johnny Walker, Veena, Chand Usmani, Nirupa Roy, Asit Sen, Iftekhar, Leela Chitnis, D. K. Sapru, Parveen Choudhary etc in it.
As many as six songs from “Shehnaayi” (1964) have already been discussed in the past. Here is the seventh song from the movie.
This song, which is sung by Asha Bhonsle, is picturised on Nirupa Roy as a lori song. She lip syncs this song while rocking a cradle with a baby in it.She rocks the cradle a bit too fast for comfort. May be she was trying to make the baby grew up faster as per the demands of the story. 🙂 And indeed, we find the kid growing big enough to ride on a hobby horse by the time the next stanza of the song comes up. 🙂
Nirupa Roy is joined by a couple of other female relatives too. I am unable to identify the younger salwar kurta clad lady, but the older one, obviously playing the grandmother of the kid is unmistakably Leela Chitnis and she does a few jigs even at that age. Yes, old people (and 50 plus was old those days) were not supposed to enjoy themselves in any way those days.

Atul, as far as I know this movie [Shehnaayi (1964)] has seven songs in it.
Therefore, this seventh song would be the final one.
If so, you may assign this movie to the RED BIN.

Sorry for the late reply. Abhi teen min ka gaana sun ne ke baad BADI se CHHOTI hone mein teen din to lag te hai na! 😆
You must have taken minimum 20 mins to first listen to the song, then write the lyrics, then correct the mistakes you MAY have done, write all the info about song-MD, lyricist, singers, movie, year, change the format, then copy and paste the YT link and finally send it to Atulji. To main ye soch rahi hoon ki is bees minutes mein jo aap BADE nahi hue to ye teen minute ka gaana sunte mere bade hone ki to koi gunjaahish hi nahi hai. 😆 Agar aise gaana sunte koi BADA ho sakta hai to 6953 gaane sun ne ke baad sabhi sun ne waalon ki haalat ke baare mein soch ke…………
