“Do Kaliyaan” (1968) was an AVM productions movie. It was directed by Krishnan Panju. The movie had Biswajeet, Mala Sinha, Mehmood, Om Prakash, Lalita Pawar, Manorama, Nigar Sultana, Geetanjali, Hira Lal, Umesh Sharma, Bharati, Sujata, Shabnam, Baby Sonia(aka Neetu Singh) etc in it.
As many as five songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the sixth song from this movie. This song is a semi classical song/ dance song. It is sung by Asha Bhonsle and it is picturised on Geetanjali, with Manorama, Baby Sonia (Neetu Singh) and Mehmood also visible.
Sahir Ludhianvi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Ravi.

‘Do Kaliyan’ was a remake of the Tamil ‘Kuzhanthaiyum Deiyvum’ which was…ehem….’inspired’ by the thoroughly enjoyable ‘Parent Trap’ that starred the adorable Hayley Mills. As is usual, none of the ‘inspired’ versions came anywhere near the original………….
